Big screen role for Brookie babe
Jennifer Ellison has landed her first starring role on the big screen - in horror flick The Cottage.
The 21-year-old will play the lead opposite Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor Dexter Fletcher.
Jen's latest project was announced at the Cannes film festival and the beauty hopes it will help her break Hollywood.
She said: "I would love to follow in the footsteps of Catherine Zeta Jones - from the Darling Buds of May to Hollywood."
The former Brookside babe has already starred in the film adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera and appeared in the West End production of Chicago.
The Cottage begins shooting later this year and is likely to be filmed in Northern Ireland.
